Wanted Man

This song is a look into the life of a man who lives on the outside of the law.  I did not write this song to justify the actions of criminals, but rather as a story involving a character that resorts to crime due to extenuating circumstances.  

This song talks about the lessening importance of the role of a father in the home.  Wanted Man openly puts forth the opinion that certain government assistance programs make it easier for families to split, often times forcing a well-intended father into an anomic state which increases his likelihood to resort to crime. 

This tune is a reflection of my conservative upbringing, and I myself am conflicted about the message of the song.  I am putting out this song because I feel its message does have validity in certain family situations. I am also putting it out because it is a fun upbeat track for BDC.  Thus far I have been a pretty mellow artist and I think it’s time to kick it up a notch!
